The kids have done some interesting things lately...
I was getting ice the other day and a crayon fell into my glass.
We have one vent that is on the floor behind a chair. I caught Madeline pouring apple juice in it.
They colored all over one of Ben's walls with crayons. Madeline did the pink because "that's her favorite color". Ben said it was an accident.
They made a "purple cake" in a bowl that goes in a toddler toilet. It was filled with different lotions, shampoos, and baby powder.
On a positive note, they will get up, go downstairs, find a snack and turn on the TV all by themselves. We just have to hope none of the above happens while we try to sleep in!

Last Sunday Madeline got her ears pierced! She had been asking me about it for a few weeks so we took the plunge. She did great! She had a total look of shock when they actually pierced her ears, but she didn't cry. We made a big deal about it for her. Jen and the girls, and Gran met us there to witness her rite of passage. The earrings look really cute on her, but it makes her look a little older, I think.
Ben had his own special day with Daddy. They were supposed to go to the hockey game but when they got to will call for the tickets, they were nowhere to be found. Since it was an AllStar game, tickets would have cost about 150 to buy more. So, they ate dinner at the CNN center and headed home. Of course, Ben didn't understand why they didn't get to see any hockey. Jamie kept trying different ways to explain it to him. Finally Ben said,"Maybe Mommy can find them". So sweet, he thinks mommy can find anything. Then he asked Jamie if Maddie's ears looked cute! They crack me up!
